Tonight @DickieV Gala, we announced $24.8 million has been raised for pediatric cancer research in the past year! Millions of dollars were raised during the Gala tonight, including a $12 million gift from @MarkBPentecost and Cindy Pentecost. What a night!!
Today, 31 years ago, Jim Valvano passed away. We are taking today to honor him and his legacy. The mark he has left on all of us is irreplaceable. We thank him for his integrity, inspiration, and love.
A great tribute to one of the greatest. Heartfelt condolences to Whitey Herzog’s family and all who loved him. We are forever grateful for his support and for speaking at our 2014 event. ♥️
