The Ben Kruse Crappie Tournament began in 2011. Organizers knew of several people who didn’t golf, and wanted a way to become involved with 18 FORE Life. The inaugural event was a huge success and in just the second year, became the largest fishing tournament ever held at Lake Wappapello with 59 boats entered. The fishing is always great, the food is amazing and the giveaways make this event a great time no one wants to miss out on. Much like the bowling event, many participants are passionate about the sport, while many others choose to make this the one time of the year they hit the water!
