Rainout Policy: Should any golf be played in a golfer’s flight on the day of The BK18FORELife Charity Golf Event, there will be no refunds. If an afternoon or morning, or both flights of golf should be rained out, a refund will be offered IF the golfer or golfers choose to not accept our gift bag. If a golfer or golfers choose, they may keep their gift bag in exchange for their entry fee. Golf entries will be due prior to the event weekend, June 7th. Any entry paid the day of the event will be an additional $25.00. Carts will remain the same $50.00 rental fee, as will the entry when paid ahead of time-$100 or $400 for an entire team.

It is that time of year again for The Ben Kruse Charity Crappie Tournament! We are proud to say that the Crappie Tournament is the second biggest fundraising event for the 18 Fore Life Charity and we hope to keep it that way! The Ben Kruse 18 Fore Life Charity gave away it’s millionth dollar in love offerings to local families battling life threatening illnesses in 2013! We can only continue to help these families with your support!
Listed below are the details of the tournament along with an entry voucher. Please complete the voucher and return the white top copy along with payment. Please keep the pink and yellow copies. You will need to bring both the pink and yellow copies with you to the weigh-in.
WHEN:SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th, 2014 (FISHING HOURS 7:00 AM TO 1:00 PM)
WHERE: WAPPAPELLO LAKE – WEIGH-IN AT SUNDOWNER MARINA (MUST BE IN WEIGH-IN LINE BY 2:00 PM)
HOW: ENTRY FEE $110.00 PER BOAT WHICH INCLUDES $10.00 FOR BIG FISH ENTRY
TWO PERSON TEAMS UNLESS A THIRD TEAM MEMBER IS UNDER THE AGE OF 16 (EIGHT POLE MAXIMUM)
SEVEN FISH WEIGH-IN (*PLEASE TRY TO KEEP ALL SEVEN FISH ALIVE. DEAD FISH ELIGIBILITY WILL BE AT TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE DISCRETION.)
HALF OF THE ENTRY FEE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CHARITY AND THE OTHER HALF WILL BE GIVEN TO THE TOP FINISHING ANGLERS IN CASH PRIZES. NUMBER OF PLACES PAID WILL DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF BOAT ENTRIES. BIG FISH WILL PAY TWO PLACES-70% TO THE BOAT WEIGHING THE BIGGEST CRAPPIE AND 30% TO THE BOAT WEIGHING THE SECOND BIGGEST CRAPPIE.
We ask that you please preregister and mark your shirt size appropriately. Every angler will receive a participant “goody bag” as they have in years past. We are lucky to have generous sponsors who have donated items such as a tee shirt, hat, fleece half-zip pullover and many more items too numerous to mention. We want to make sure you receive the correct size on these items so you can proudly wear them! Those registering the day of the tournament are not guaranteed the correct size since we have to preorder these items.
We will be doing loin and butt sales again along with raffle of a Traeger Grill and a Cajun Fish Fryer. We will also have the silent auction the day at the weigh-in along with door prizes and other festivities. All anglers and spectators are welcome to participate in the silent auction and eat the free food and drink!

Start/Finish Line has been moved to the vacant lot directly across from Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home Remember, it is a fun run/walk through the streets of downtown Dexter. All proceeds go to area families fighting ALS. A bake sale will also take place!
